ABOVE: This episcopal chair, made of silky oak, was donated by Bishop Horace Henry Dixon to the parishioners of St Barnabas' Church, Red Hill, in memory of their late Rector, Canon David John Garland. This article appeared in Brisbane's "The Telegraph" newspaper of 15 June 1940 (page 4).
